Went out on an overnight vacation! Host fam took me to some prefecture near the southern tip of the main island of japan. We actually saw the HUGE bridge between this island and the next. (is it bad i cant remember the names right now?) I have gorgey pics i will put up later. BUT! We saw Hiroe for a day, which was lovely, and we ate ice cream. When Hiroe mentioned what flavour ice cream was the towns meibutsu (famous food) i could not believe it, but it was really really good. Shouyu. Soy Sauce. But it was really really good. caramelesque.
