So, Im sick. Not quite sick enough to get out of doing this bloody internship, just sick enough to be miserable throughout. My throat feels about half its normal size, and ive been waking up 40 times every night sweating my brains out even though my room is frigid. Fortunately (or not) no fever, or anything else serious.

In other news my Okaasan has once again proven herself to be possibly the most lovely person on the entire planet. After i told her how worried i was about the program, not only did she bring me home all kinds of supplies to work with, and help me brainstorm some pretty funky ideas, she also went to the center AND the elementary school after work and made sure that the people were nice. Turns out the center people made the schedule, and the school doesnt care if i talk for three hours or not. In fact, looks like i only have to make one presentation, and its shortish.

Ive also had a think about it, and ive realized that it doesnt matter one bit if i do a good job or not. Not that i plan not to try, but. Im not getting any unbc credit for this, im barely getting oiu credit, so whats the big deal? Im gonna go, give it my semi-sick best, and if thats not good enough then they can whine all they want. I dont care. cant wait for my vacation to start.

Hana Yori Dango kicked bum this week. Doumyoji finally told her he loved her. Albeit so did Rui, but i think we know how it works out anyway. Ive been bittorrenting the first season, (and the second, since it has subtitles) and i am a happy me. Now all i need is bt live nodame!

Right. Time to go lay in bed and pray for either a speedy recovery, or a violent fever/vomiting spell/fit of coughing blood or something.
